Artist Bio

Todd Eberwine is a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter with 20 years under his belt in the music industry. Living out of Buffalo NY you can find him playing with a multitude of bands ranging from his own original Rock/Jam bands to Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia tribute style acts.

For over a decade Todd spent time in the Blues scene both recording and touring, primarily with "The Todd Eberwine Band" and "Dive House Union," both of which won best blues act in the Buffalo area and were selected to represent the region in the International Blues Competition in Memphis TN. Dive House Union also opened for acts such as Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gary Clark Jr., Johnny Lang, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and more.

Currently you'll find Todd playing "the soundtrack of his life" in several Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia tribute acts. His band Soul Roach has agreed to a national touring regimen as of 2018. The rather rapid success of Soul Roach can be attributed to the band's unique take on the music. Garcia lovers can come to the show and sing along to their favorite tunes and then be treated to a completely original musical excursion upon leaving the songs' themes. Soul Roach has quickly become known for providing a different show every night with extensive improvisational segments.

As a young guitar player he was heavily moved by Stevie Ray Vaughan and dedicated more than a decade to pursuing a career in the blues scene. Then, after 2 album releases and 2 tours with Dive House Union in 2014, he stepped away from the music industry to focus on his family. Ultimately, he decided if he was going to hop back in, it would only be to play the music he loved most: the improvisational jams of the Grateful Dead. Having purposely never learned the Garcia style for fear it would steal the magic from the music for him, he took a new approach from a different angle and it's already been paying dividends. Todd grew up in the "Dead Head" culture and knows the music on an intimate level.

Soon after playing shows again, original music began to flow and the artist has since surrendered to that call once more. This year will see Todd touring with Soul Roach and writing new material for another record due out in the later part of 2018.
